Sad News

Last Monday while we were still in Maui, I received a call from my Mother that my Brother Richard had passed away suddenly. We all left for Atlanta on the earliest flight we could and traveled for almost 20 hours to get to Atlanta. The services were held on Thursday and Friday and it warmed my heart that so many people came to honor Richard and pay their respects to our family.

He was only 35 years old, and as most of you know, has two very sweet boys, Jared and Harrison whom he loved very much. Richard had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. I spoke to his neighbors when we were cleaning out his house over the weekend and I was reminded of his amazing ability to make friends of all ages and backgrounds. He was incredibly loyal and would never say 'no' to someone in need, in fact I learned that he had loaned money to a neighbor just recently when he did not have any to spare himself.

It is hard to believe he is really gone. Please keep our family, especially his sons Jared and Harrison, in your thoughts.
