The first day of Spring in Seattle was amazing and made me really look forward to getting back into our routine of taking Evan to the park and playing in our yard. He loves being outside so this winter was a bit challenging keeping him entertained indoors. To celebrate the changing of seasons, the preschool Evan will be attending this fall had an egg hunt on their grounds. We had fun dyeing eggs the night before and watching him search for eggs. Evan loved being able to show his Dad around his new school as well. He seems to be really excited about 'big boy
school'.
I had my first baby shower for baby ling #2 hosted by my step-mom, Mona at the Sorrento hotel in Seattle. It was a beautiful setting to celebrate the impending arrival of the new addition to the family. I received some adorable gifts for the little one and some very special handmade items as well. Mona made a quilt from my Dad's retired dress shirts in colors that correspond

with the bedding I picked out. She made one for

Evan before he was born as well, they are going to make great heirlooms one day for both children to pass along to their families. My cousin Jessica also made some adorable one-of-a-kind onesies.

And Evan's Gigi

bought us a much needed double-stroller, which Evan and Aaron had fun as

sembling together.
